AMBASSADORS CLUB - Originally established in 1991, the Ambassadors Club focused on connecting new members with other professionals in the Association. The Club was very successful - retention rates skyrocketed, and members reported many new relationships & business growth. Sadly, this group disbanded for several years. In early 2018, the Board of Directors decided to reinstate the Ambassadors Club. This Club is open to all members who enjoy meeting new people and growing their circle of industry contacts. REMODELER’S COUNCIL, $55.00/YEAR - The Remodeler’s Council represents those persons whose primary business is in the Remodeling Industry. Programs include a speaker’s bureau, educational seminars, networking opportunities, and professional designation programs. (Meets monthly)

SALES & MARKETING COUNCIL, $75.00/YEAR - The Sales and Marketing Council provides information to its members whose interests are increasing and sharing their knowledge of sales & marketing. Educational seminars, publications and networking opportunities are provided on a regular basis. (Meets bi-monthly)


MEMBERSHIP COMMITTEE, NO FEE - The Membership Committee is responsible for planning membership promotions/ contests and events, growth and retention of membership, member engagement and education, and recognition of Spike members. Membership committee consists of 3 sub-committees that meet monthly:

  • Membership Development and Retention - Help grow the HMCBA membership by recruiting and retaining current members.
  • Member Engagement & Education - Help engage new members by planning and promoting educational and professional development events.
  • Member Events - Help celebrate our members by planning and promoting monthly events throughout the year. This Committee offers lots of networking & business contacts - a great way to meet new members and gain recognition from your peers!

ASSOCIATE COUNCIL, NO FEE - The Associate Council is the elected council of Associate members who work to promote the following events for the Association: Spring Home & Garden Show, Fall Home & Garden Show, Bass Tournament and Golf Tournament. There are a limited number of seats available, and only one person per member firm may serve on the council.  Service begins in January of each year; however, spots may open throughout the year. If interested, your name will be placed on the ballot for election to the council. (Meets monthly)


GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, NO FEE - The Governmental Affairs Committee is responsible for identifying, researching, and recommending to the Board of Directors positions on political and regulatory issues affecting the building industry. Committee members are appointed by the Governmental Affairs Committee Chairperson. Expressed interest will help the chairperson decide on appointments for committee service.  Service on the committee is limited in availability for voting positions. Service begins in January of each year. If interested, your name will be placed on the ballot for election to the committee. (Meets monthly)


PARADE OF HOMES COMMITTEE, NO FEE - The Parade of Homes Committee is responsible for planning the Parade of Homes. Additional duties include selection of the site for construction of the Showcase Home, review of house plans, and selection of Realtor. If interested, your name will be placed on the ballot for election to the committee. (Meets approximately five times during the year)
